You join as a professional, on behalf of your organisation — which must be a company (privately held or State-owned), a financial institution or licensed investor, or a public authority, registered in the United Kingdom or one of 19 EU member states. Register with your business email; every account is verified before it can engage, so there are no anonymous or unvetted counterparts.
Do I need approval from my organisation to join?
No. You register as a professional on behalf of your organisation, using your business email. Because no transaction takes place on the platform and nothing you publish commits your organisation, joining is a business-development decision rather than a procurement or board matter. You alone decide what to publish and when to reveal your identity.
Who typically uses Invest Business?
The people responsible for growing an organisation: business owners, founders and CFOs; sales and business-development directors; corporate bankers, coverage and relationship managers, origination and investment professionals; and investment-promotion, economic-development and funding officers in public authorities.
How is confidentiality enforced?
Your Request is listed under your pseudonym, never your name, to members on the other side of it: institutions and public bodies see company Requests; companies see institutions, public bodies and, for property and business collaboration, other companies. Your identity stays hidden until both sides agree to connect — a double opt-in — and conversations happen inside our secure proprietary chat, not over email. Accounts are individual and fully siloed: no one else in your organisation — colleagues or management — can see your Requests, your shortlist or your conversations.
Is Invest Business a financial institution or a broker?
No. We are a business utility platform — organised like a marketplace, by what businesses want, not who they are: you browse verified business intents, not profiles. No transactions are executed on the platform, no funds pass through us, and we take no commission. Deals happen directly between counterparts.
Do you take a commission on deals?
Never. We are not a broker, we take no percentage of any transaction, and we don't sit in your negotiation. The platform's role ends where your conversation begins.
What does it cost?
Every user pays a one-off verification fee — it's how we keep the platform serious and free of noise. Companies then pay an annual subscription priced by the size of their organisation, renewing automatically each year until cancelled, with credits included to connect with the partners of their choice and additional credits available at any time. Financial institutions acquire clients at no cost (premium optional), and public bodies use the platform free of charge.
